A Club for owners of Cavalier King Charles Spaniels providing fun activities, Guest Speakers, fun agility and advice on health care and management of the breed. We also run classes on behalf of the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme for ALL BREEDS from Puppy Assessment through to Gold levels. We use kind, reward based training methods.
Following Mary How’s death from bowel cancer, the Trust was formed in 1988 by her husband and GP. Their goal: to make health screening available to men and women from all walks of life, regardless of their ability to pay. Today, they undertake over 1000 screenings each year.
They receive no funding from the NHS. Their screening rooms and our charity shop are in Pulborough, West Sussex, BUT you do not have to live in West Sussex to book an appointment – everyone is welcome!

We are a small friendly club encouraging players at all levels. All you need to play this fascinating and challenging game is a pair of flat shoes! We are a friendly and active society and have been performing a variety of plays in the village for over 70 years. We aim to perform two public productions a year (May and November) on the stage of our local Village Hall. Rehearsals are on Monday and Thursday evenings in the months leading up to a production.
We hold regular Members Evenings, involving entertainment and refreshments in the Village Hall. We also put on play readings at local hostelries.

The Probus Club meet for lunch on the first Wednesday in the month.
We are a very active and inclusive club: during the year we host nine members' lunches with a wide variety of informative and entertaining speakers; other activities include twelve coffee mornings; two seasonal lunches at different venues, a summer BBQ and a black tie Christmas dinner. Events include the inter-probus croquet challenge and the ever-popular skittles evening. Recent visits include the Bluebell Line, waste recycling plants, Durrance Manor and Highgrove House.

Short Mat Bowls is a version of the traditional game played with the same woods on a specially made mat. Because it takes place indoors it is played all the year round, regardless of the weather. We run three (two hour) sessions a week in the Village Hall, Monday: 2pm - 4pm, Thursday: 9am - 11am and 11am - 1pm.
New members, both experienced (indoor or outdoor) bowlers, and newcomers to the sport are always welcome. Woods are available. Never tried it? Come and have a go! There is no obligation to join. If you would like further details please ring Jean Palmer on 01798 815930.
We are a friendly, non-contesting band consisting of local enthusiastic musicians of all abilities and ages. Anybody wishing to consider joining the band would be welcome - loan instruments can be provided.
We rehearse every Wednesday at 8.00pm in St. Mary's Church Hall in West Chiltington village. We also enjoy playing at local events throughout the year.

Whatever your level of ability or age there could be a place for you at our friendly Club. Whether you are League standard competitive player or mature beginner you will welcomed as a new member. Local families are the backbone of our developing Junior/Youth section.
The Club plays on modern equipment and the Village Hall provides an excellent environment with good lighting and ample heating. Parking is free and is immediately outside the hall, great on those wet and cold winter days.
The Club has three UKCC level 1 coaches, and formal and informal coaching is available. Weekly sessions are run in both the Village Hall and in the Village Hall Annexe as follows:-

Our club exists to foster interest in the theatre and artistic subjects in general. We do this by organising monthly theatre trips and holding monthly meetings with a speaker on a range of artistic topics.
We meet on the second Tuesday of each month (except August) at 2.30pm at West Chiltington Village Hall. Our theatre trips are usually to matinee performances each month (again except August) and we always select very good stalls seats.
We publish a monthly Neswletter giving details of meetings, of speakers and their topics, and advertising our theatre trips with costs and arrangements. Our Newsletter is emailed (or posted) to all members.

We meet at the West Chiltington Village Hall, on the second Thursday of each month at 2.15pm (excluding August) and enjoy a varied programme with excellent speakers.
We also have a number of activity groups which give you a chance to meet fellow members and make new friends in a less formal setting. These include: Arts & Craft, two Book Clubs, Focus on Food, French Conversation, Mah Jong, Photography, Scrabble and Walking, We also hold regular pop up café get togethers, outings and social events such as our summer picnic.

This is a weekly lunch club for senior citizens based in the Village Hall in Pulborough. We currently have members from Pulborough, Nutbourne, West Chiltington, Storrington, Bury and Amberley.
If you would enjoy a light lunch which you don't have to prepare yourself and if you would enjoy seeing old friends or perhaps making new ones, then please come along and join us. The menu includes home made soup, rolls and delightful puddings provided by volunteers, with special appropriate menus for high days and holidays, at modest cost.
Depending on your location, our Community Minibus may collect you from your home and take you to and from the Village Hall.

Would you like to have a game of Bowls on our lovely green? It is a very enjoyable activity. New bowlers are given plenty of support and made to feel welcome, so do give it a try! Membership is good value for money: informal bowling is free.
The Green (it is behind the cycle shop) reopened on 21st April with a coffee morning followed by an afternoon "Drive" when members spent an enjoyable couple of hours bowling in a relaxed informal competition followed by a cup of tea. Visitors, especially prospective members, are welcome to come and watch any of our matches.
During the 2018 season we have a number of Open Days to welcome new members. The first four are open mornings, from 10am to 12 noon, on Saturday 28th & Sunday 29th April and Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th May.

We also have regular open evenings throughout the season. Qualified coaches are on hand to assist. Bowls can be borrowed initially and all that is needed for the open days is a pair of trainers or flat soled shoes. Please visit our website.

We are associated to the National Association of Decorative & Fine Arts Societies and our Society was established some 22 years ago and has an active membership of 260. We meet 9 times a year in the Village Hall in West Chiltington for lectures and there are 2 Special Interest Days.
